Quick-Turn Cards for 5e Classes
When initiative lands on a new player, the whole table waits while they read every feature on their sheet. Hand them the card for their class and the usual shape of a turn is right there in front of them before the dice come back around.
Each of the twelve cards is written for the 2024 rules and covers four things. It says what to open a fight with, what most rounds look like, what the reaction is for, and which resource too many tables send home unspent. The rogue card, for one, reminds the player that Cunning Action buys a bonus-action Dash, Disengage or Hide every round. A Resources at a Glance card sums up what comes back on which rest, for the whole party.
Think of them as a rhythm to lean on. A player who knows their usual turn can go in about ten seconds, and they tend to be the first to notice when a round calls for something else.
