The Session Zero Kit

Left to itself, session zero has a way of sprawling. This kit fits the whole evening into about ninety minutes around one table, with five sheets and a one-page running order.

The Table Charter goes first. It settles the game, the tone dials, the schedule and the table's customs, and then everyone signs it. After that, each person fills out a comfort slip on their own and drops it in a pile. The slips get shuffled and copied onto one sheet with no names on it, so a line someone needs left alone never has to be claimed out loud. Player Expectations, the World Page and the Party Compact fill in the rest.

Each player gets their own expectations sheet, and the others are one per campaign. When the campaign changes shape later on, rerun whichever sheet needs it. The kit prints clean on US Letter, or on A4 with fit-to-page.
