Torn Kingdoms

Six regions from one ruined atlas, printed to be used up. Draw the party's route on one, circle the town that owes them money, fold it into a pocket, and tear off the corner that burned in the fire they started. When a copy is wrecked, the clean one is still in the PDF waiting for the next print.

Each region comes three ways. The named edition has original towns, mountain ranges and waters. The blank edition is the same ground with empty labels, for a table that already has kingdoms of its own. The illustrated atlas plate is painted for screens and handouts, or for the wall behind the table. Every named map carries three hooks in its margin, tied to places on it, eighteen in all, and the regions fit together in any order. Here's one:

THE CINDER STEPPE. Thirty leagues of warm ash. Lastwell is the last well. The maps that show a farther one are sold in Brakkar, cheap.

The other five are Vellmark, the Shattered Isles, the Reedlow Vale, the Thornmarch and the Highcold, and all six will sit under any fantasy game.
