Druid Circle for 5e
There's an old treaty between the house and the wild, and the druid of Circle of the Hedge is the one who keeps it. The treaty has a physical shape, too. Spend a use of Wild Shape and a living hedge grows across the map. Friends slip through it with half cover on the way, and everyone else runs into a proper wall.
Enemies still get some say in the matter. Fire burns a section away for good, and a body standing in a gap keeps it open. Then there are the offerings. Milk, salt, coin, anything given freely and left on the step turns into banked blessings, and the hedge pays them out at the worst possible moment for somebody else. At 14th level the hedge flowers, and for one minute a garden stands up around the druid, right where it was raised.
