Wizard School for 5e
Magic burns out all through a fight, yours and theirs, and School of Salvage keeps what's left. Salvage dice tick in whenever a spell on either side gets spent. The wizard can throw the pile as a payload, or once a day turn it into a free spell.
Level 14 is where it gets a bit mean. When an enemy spell of 5th level or lower comes in, the wizard can use a Reaction to strip it for parts as it lands, so it fails against one ally and the dice go in the wizard's pocket.
